LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ROTATION PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Medtronic’s Leadership Development Rotation Program brings strong MBA talent from targeted sources into the organization; providing them with key experiences, setting the foundation for future success as a potential leader at Medtronic.
Participants begin their journey in Minnesota with a first rotation that provides an enterprise lens to how our organization operates – roles include regional, functional and corporate opportunities such as Financial Planning and Analysis, Global Supply Chain, Integrated Health Solutions, and Corporate Strategy. Participants are placed in assignments where they learn and add value on specific deliverables and participate in cohort-wide development on key strategies in our organization, such as Value Based Health Care and market modeling processes that are used across the organization. Exposure to our Executive Leaders and regular cohort connections round out this foundation setting experience.
Participants are then placed into a second rotation at one of our many geographies in the US which is aligned to a business – and provides a therapy and patient focused opportunity in key functional areas like product marketing, market development, business development and strategy. These roles prepare participants to understand Medtronic from a specific and critical business lens. These roles are often global in nature – working across regions to provide access to products in a variety of regions.
Throughout their time on program, participants will be exposed to opportunities to explore their interests in a variety of areas – including what it takes to be a leader of people at Medtronic, Employee Resource Groups, and Mission Aligned Activities.

About Medtronic PLC
Together, we can change healthcare worldwide. At Medtronic, we push the limits of what technology, therapies and services can do to help alleviate pain, restore health and extend life. We challenge ourselves and each other to make tomorrow better than yesterday. It is what makes this an exciting and rewarding place to be.
We want to accelerate and advance our ability to create meaningful innovations - but we will only succeed with the right people on our team. Let’s work together to address universal healthcare needs and improve patients’ lives. Help us shape the future.
About Medtronic Connectivity and Insights:
Once a patient receives an implanted cardiac device, the care doesn’t stop there. It’s only the beginning of a long-term relationship that the patient establishes with the provider. Staying connected to cardiac device patients is critical. However, we know that’s difficult- given the demands physicians face every day. At Medtronic our goal is to provide physicians with tools that simplify how cardiac device patients are managed and help give the insight needed to make better, faster decisions- so patients' health can be restored.
We’re always l...ooking for new ways to work together with providers, so we can improve the patient management tools used every day. For example, we’re now providing options for physicians and patients that are app-based and work on mobile devices.
Our offerings connect physicians with patients and their cardiac device data at every point of care:
• Remote monitoring for the home and acute settings – such as the ER and OR
• Programmers for implants and in-clinic device follow-up
• Information Systems that integrate cardiac device data into your practice
