JOB SUMMARY The Marketing Manager is the single point of contact within the Dallas/Fort Worth Marketing department working alongside our sales professionals to support their business development needs. This is a roll-up-the-sleeves, hands-on role, managing a team that develops and edits proposal and presentation content, in addition to other marketing and pitch materials for new business development pursuits. The ideal candidate will have a communications/PR background, interested in moving into a marketing/business development role, utilizing their writing, relationship building and strategic planning skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as single point of contact for pursuits, collaborating with sales professionals to develop strategies and value propositions for proposals and presentations; resources team members and ensures service delivery.
Manages entire proposal and presentation process from inception to completion; develops and edits content.
Researches and resolves complex issues pertaining to RFP responses.
Advises and develops broker value propositions and creates broker team marketing/new business materials.
Serves as brand manager, ensuring brand and logo integrity in all created materials.
Interfaces with executive leadership and sales professionals.
May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
Responsible for quality control for produced materials (proofreading, style guide, etc).
Marketing liaison for broker support staff, providing training and guidance when needed.
Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience; experience in commercial real estate preferred.
Excellent verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Works well under deadlines.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Creative Suite a plus.
Positive, energetic, collaborative 'can do' attitude. Adept at building internal relationships and serving several audiences, both onsite and remote. Enjoys working with different personalities and can adapt to/accommodate others' work styles while achieving goals and objectives of projects and deliverables.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides formal supervision of a team of five.
Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
