A Day in the Life:
The Marketing Project Manager has primary responsibility for managing scope, timelines, budget, internal relationships and overall success of the project and sub-projects. This involves creating documentation, schedules and processes as well as standards and best practices. In addition, you will be responsible for content management and asset uploads.
What You ll Do:
End-to-end project management, project types include large-scale websites, video production, social media, brand development and production.
Report directly to the Project Management team lead and be part of the project management team; support as a day-to-day project manager, managing projects regarding client expectations, timing and risks associated to a project; support the project management team according to a project life cycle both internally and externally; manage timelines and allocated budgets
Engage and support projects throughout the project life cycle including client/internal meetings, managing client expectations (and working to exceed them), and ensuring deliverables meet strategic objectives, timelines and budgets
Actively engage in creative brainstorm meetings to coordinate any concepting efforts that can be brought to fruition on relevancy during concepting of a project, new business pitch or initial kick-off of a project
Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement projects
Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards are met
Develop support documentation including requirement specifications and risk logs
Establish marketing KPIs, track and analyze project performance, and report on insights and opportunities for optimization
Communicate to leadership team overall health of assigned programs and projects
Follow up on all open project items with internal team and track open issues accordingly in Status Reports and timelines, and informing all parties as necessary
Triage new tasks and help to prioritize based on severity, contractual obligation, and team workload
Apply Alliance Marketing methodologies & processes to enforce project standards
Conduct and lead kick-off and status meetings regularly with leadership and the internal team, ensure thorough communication with all stakeholders at all stages of every project.
Prepare detailed post-project analysis that includes ROI, key learnings and future project recommendations
Assist in writing, implementing and training of new processes
Seek every opportunity for improvement on all fronts.
What You ll Need to Succeed:
Three to four years experience with building and implementing industry-based project management methodologies and tools, including Agile (Scrum, Kanban), waterfall, and/or design-thinking)
Two or more years of general business experience in a large, matrixed organization
Proven work experience as a digital and/or agency-level project manager
Proven track record in managing medium to large scale digital solutions across channels including site redesigns, cross-platform solutions, email marketing, video, production and campaigns.
Describes oneself as a do-er and planned in project management with proven track record in project and time/budget management
Hands on experience with project management software
Familiarity with content management systems and HTM/CSS
Working understanding of Digital Marketing
BSc in Operations Management, Digital Marketing, or relevant field.
