As an Associate Brand Manager, Marketing you will play a critical role in helping one of our amazing brands, analyze, develop and implement annual consumer brand marketing plans, contribute to the strategic plan development by understanding the consumer’s needs to drive relevance and loyalty to our brands, and then executing the plans with excellence.
Analysis: Responsible for on-going analysis supporting brand initiatives. Use brand, industry and consumer information resources to identify business issues and opportunities and to develop strategic and programming recommendations to achieve brand goals. Provide timely and comprehensive analysis of objectives, execution, and future planning implications. Develop implications and program recommendations for management. Analyze business performance (shipment and consumption) data on a monthly basis to gauge performance against brand objectives; derive key implications to help inform/evolve our path forward.
Media/Communications: Actively participate in developing and managing consumer programs, including media, strategic partnerships, and customer relationships.
Innovation: Lead cross-functional teams in extension and renovation innovation efforts.
Project Management: Lead and manage designated brand initiatives. Develop objectives, spearhead programs across multiple groups, develop and communicate all consumer, distributor/broker and field materials, and manage agency execution. Assist in all aspects of brand including advertising, point of sale, local programs, national sales meeting planning, frequent sales alignment meeting planning, and promotion development.
Insight Development: Ability to take consumer insights and translate them into actionable consumer driven marketing plans. Understand and communicate brand's unique selling propositions to key stakeholders - internal KDP departments, field sales, distributors, retailers and consumers. Ensure trademark consistency in all communications. Develop strong commercial knowledge and business acumen to support annual brand strategy planning.
System Communication: Communicate with the field, distributors/brokers, and retailers to secure market approach, manage in-market activities, research/report on local market conditions and implement programs.
Budgeting: Own and actively manage brand marketing budget, cross-functional alignment, and end-of-year budget performance. Coordinate with Finance to research and adjust inappropriate budget entries.
Skills & Capability Development: Develop objectives, personal development and training plans Coach, Provide peer coaching, feedback, and guidance, and participate in all mandatory training and skills development for the role.
Champion Our Brands and Drive Alignment Across the Organization: Encourage organizational and customer engagement, alignment and excitement for brand strategy and plans. Drive alignment behind brand strategy with senior management and key commercial stakeholders. Responsible for consulting with cross-functional partners and driving alignment across the organization. Participate in key sales and marketing presentations.

Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or related Master’s degree strongly preferred
2 years of brand marketing/brand management experience; CPG/Beverage experience from a Fortune 500 CPG corporation is strongly preferred
Strong project and people management skills
This role is based at the KDP Burlington, MA headquarters or Plano, TX headquarters location. Relocation to Greater Boston or Dallas, TX area is required with 10%-15% travel.
