The firm is seeking an experienced channel marketing manager to join the Taiwan Marketing team. This multifaceted role requires a hand-on approach, excellent organizational skills and an aptitude for problem solving. The candidate will report to the Vice President, Head of Marketing, Taiwan.
This position will require collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including compliance, client facing teams, investment professionals, as well as working with external vendors, to support the Taiwan Marketing Team and where necessary, the broader Asia ex-Japan Marketing team, to develop and execute high quality, highly effective strategic & tactical marketing programs to achieve objectives.
Support the Head of Marketing, Taiwan and broader Asia ex-Japan Marketing team to develop and execute high impact marketing programs - leveraging all marketing platforms including paid media, digital, multimedia, events, sponsorships etc. to achieve measurable business objectives
Build strong relationships with Account Managers to facilitate communication, proactively identify opportunities and challenges, and support execution of marketing efforts
Provide marketing support and communications as per schedule and ad-hoc as required
Help to develop new and innovative strategies to create and maintain strong relationships with clients across distribution channels
Manage content pipeline and develop content where necessary to facilitate thought leadership building in local markets
Work with the client facing team to develop and execute the channel's conference & events strategy
Work with the teams locally and abroad to build out new collateral to help our audience further understand our strategies and products. Also leverage off material produced overseas and manage translations
Partner with client facing team and digital marketers to develop, execute, and maximize the impact of digital marketing initiatives
Coordinate with compliance to ensure all materials produced are fully compliant with regulations
Manage external vendors, where necessary, in the production and execution of product advertising, events and other client marketing campaigns
Assume primary responsibility of managing translations for Taiwan and China, including managing translation houses, external sub-editors and channel marketers for all marketing collateral including thought leadership pieces, monthly fund commentaries, fund flyers, website, emails, and brochures across various marketing platforms.
Compile and analyze metrics reports on campaigns launched and present findings to key marketing stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or business related disciplines
Professional qualification in finance a plus
Understanding of financial markets with 6-9+ years' industry experience in wholesale marketing and institutional marketing in the asset management industry in Asia, particularly Taiwan and China
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin / Taiwan Traditional Chinese)
Demonstrated record of success in developing and driving marketing programs to achieve goals
Demonstrated record of being a strong team player
Experience in managing translations and content pipeline
Proven ability to interpret and communicate financial concepts both verbally and in writing
Self-motivated, excellent communication and relationship building skills
Resilience and flexibility to work in a small regional team yet with many global stakeholders
Excellent time-management, multi-tasking and organization skills
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
