Develop and implement marketing, social media and communications strategies for all areas of Meadow Brook Hall to include museum rental, touring, Holiday Walk, educational programs, community events and volunteer recruitment. Develop and implement public relations plans to include year-round pitches. Manage and maintain MBH website. Manage graphic design for all MBH collateral and advertising needs. Manage database and photo archives. Support museum rental sales with weekly action plans.
Bachelor's degree in communications and/or marketing or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Five years' experience in developing and implementing multi-media marketing strategies, including social media. Experience in developing and implementing PR strategies including media pitches. Experience with website content management. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, planning and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Strong written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time. Ability to create and manage a budget.
Museum or cultural organization marketing experience. Experience with Word Press and Mail Chimp. Media relations experience. Familiar with Google Adwords.
