We are seeking a Senior Associate to join an expanding Growth Marketing team to develop and scale the Digital Sales program. You will be responsible for working alongside the Digital Marketing leadership team to identify high-impact cross- and up-sell marketing opportunities, designing and executing cross-channel digital campaigns and experiences that deepen client relationships and drive meaningful business revenue. You will partner closely with client-facing, data science and creative teams to develop best-in-class cross-channel campaigns, with a focus on authentic messaging, personalization and thoughtful touchpoint sequencing.
It is important that you develop a deep understanding of PIMCO's data analytics and marketing technology to inform program expansion and campaign development. You will also gain exposure to different functions within marketing, and to a variety of business areas across the firm globally. This role reports into the Growth Marketing lead within the Digital Marketing organization.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Quickly become a student of the PIMCO Digital Sales program-and lead the effort with the Wealth Management business in the U.S. while supporting expansion opportunities
Provide day-to-day leadership for Digital Sales email campaigns, managing content calendar and owning end-to-end campaign execution (team coordination, data gathering, timeline management, etc.)
Partner closely with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to understand business objectives and suggest campaign ideas that directly serve those objectives
Drive program-level enhancements, thinking critically about how digital marketing can best support the sales organization, and identify thoughtful cross-channel and personalization opportunities
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to understand relevant data and use it to inform campaign optimization and evolution over time
Seek and champion new, innovative ways to engage clients-balancing the efficiencies of scale with meaningful customization
Lead campaign planning process, ensuring thoughtful prioritization and application of past learnings
Champion thoughtful A/B and multivariate tests that prove out pre-meditated hypotheses and are focused on driving business results
Lead and coordinate a cross-team QA process to ensure seamless campaign execution
Be a subject matter expert on email marketing best practices to inform campaign design and educate stakeholders
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
5-8 years of digital marketing, marketing campaign, and / or project management experience
Significant email marketing experience, including campaign ideation, design, build, QA, and optimization
Experience developing automated and event-triggered campaigns based on user activity and as part of a multi-pronged, multi-channel marketing strategy
Ability to analyze and synthesize data, teasing out actionable insights and opportunities to grow the business through digital channels
Experience with both persona and data-driven personas that inform practical segmentation
Proven success working in a fast-paced environment and within a complex, global organization
Track record of pursuing excellence and diligent organizational skills while building strong professional relationships
Understanding of modern digital marketing capabilities, hands-on experience a plus
Experience writing for marketing campaigns a plus
Financial services marketing experience is a plus, but not required
