To be successful in this position, you need to possess effective listening skills, understand the needs of prospective residents, be a problem-solver, know how to overcome perceived obstacles, communicate the benefits of living at a retirement community, have a strong sense of urgency for the sales process and be able to close a sale.
Specifically your responsibilities will include: making daily phone calls, communicating with prospects and/or representatives via voice, in person, mail, e-mail and any other means, achieve daily, weekly and monthly contact and sales goals.
Assisting prospective residents, their family members and/or advisors in the decision-making process by understanding their needs and how we can meet and exceed their expectations.
Prompting follow-up with leads and inquiries via phone, email or other written communications.
Creating, organizing and conducting one-on-one and group presentations to prospects and family members.
Participating in lead luncheons, cultural events and informational sessions.
Experience in sales and working with seniors, sales/marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of lead tracking software, preferably Yardi, and the ability to meet weekly, monthly and annual goals.
Tuesday – Saturday schedule, some evenings and weekend events.
Additional Salary Information: Monthly bonus potential for rentals and census goals
