The Head of Marketing will report to the CEO of the Group and will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer as well as the marketing leads across the various business units.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading the development and delivery of marketing plans for the Group
Proposing quarterly and annual marketing budgets for the consideration by the Group and CEO; successful delivery of the budget along with cost controls and ROI analysis
Agree target markets and languages to optimise business and shareholder return; develop international marketing capability and optimise international marketing mix in all target territories
Responsible for customer acquisition including PR, digital performance marketing, traditional advertising, events, sponsorship, social media and influencer marketing and other media as required to deliver customer acquisition targets
Responsible for customer retention including CRM, e-mail and social media communications, community management, customer service and operational delivery to optimise lifetime value for all customer segments
Responsible for User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) of the web and mobile platforms for the Group, working closely with product and Technical stakeholders to ensure that all customer groups' needs are understood and catered for on an ongoing basis
Development of tools (in partnership with marketing teams across the Group) to effectively deliver on the marketing strategy including MI, tagging & tracking and other tools as required; ensure that such developments are prioritised and delivered to a high standard by Technical and support team(s)
Responsible for the development of Consumer Education materials for use online and offline to provide customers with easy access to effective help and guidance across all products
Responsible for managing a small but professional marketing team, as well as agencies and partners to deliver outstanding results
Work closely with senior management to drive the strategic direction of the business unit and the Group
Responsible for marketing partnerships and acquisition/retention driving business opportunities, working closely with Business Development and the Group CEO
The successful candidate will likely have the following skills/experience:
Previous experience managing a significant marketing function within a fast-paced FinTech, Capital Markets or Financial Services business
International marketing experience strongly desired
Strong legal, compliance and marketing best practice experience essential
Strong marketing skills in digital, social, advertising, PR and events (among other channels)
A proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external managers, stakeholders and partners/contacts
Strong communication and influencing skills, and an ability to adapt both style and approach as appropriate; able to speak/present at events and conferences
Outstanding copywriting and messaging ability with the ability and confidence to develop messaging under time pressure and for senior/Group stakeholders
Ability to handle complex issues and a capability to make sound commercial judgments
Experience of managing a strong and complex stakeholder network
Strong commercial acumen including ROI, LTV and P&L management experience
Ability to plan, organise and deliver complex initiatives on time and to budget
Strong technical skills (within Financial Services, Capital Markets, FinTech and Blockchain/DLT) with an ability to market complex propositions effectively
