This role reports to VP, Sr. Director Marketing. The Marketing Manager supports the execution of the overall marketing plan for the regions as well as supports the business development platform(s) and handles marketing administration for the Eastern Division.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide hands-on marketing leadership for an established Mixed-Use/Lifestyle center.
Collaborate with Senior Marketing Director to create annual marketing plans and budgets.
Manage and update marketing and advertising programs in order identify new opportunities to drive tenant sales.
Collaborate with tenants on their promotions and special events
Create content and execute Social Media for One Loudoun daily / weekly (4-5 posts) on Facebook, Twitter and Website
Manage print materials and signage
Create content and execute One Loudoun e-blasts and blogs
Manage website updates for One Loudoun and other properties when needed
Oversee regular updating and maintenance of consumer website and social media sites.
Establish an ongoing partnership with retailers to maximize individual store sales.
Create and execute retailer communications, motivation and sales programs.
Support the leasing and property management team by announcing new retailers in a timely fashion. Generate ‘buzz’ and media coverage through social media posts, website and press releases.
Maximize opportunities to generate additional income through partnerships/sponsorships.
Implement monthly tracking mechanisms for all applicable marketing programs including maintenance of sales and traffic results.
Assist VP, Sr. Director of Marketing with the following:
Administrative support on agreements, insurance and process for deals with both external clients and internal.
Filter lead generating inquiries and support follow up
Assist with research and estimates on vendors and partnerships
Follow up on execution of collateral and programming
Additional support for development projects as needed
10% Travel – local and industry as needed
Work with community groups, retail tenants and management team on planning and execution of 3rd party events.
Coordinate preparations for events – vendors, entertainment, tenants, signage, etc.
Execute and support events throughout the year at One Loudoun (4-5 large scale events and summer concert series)
3-5 years of retail or shopping center marketing experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or industry related experience required.
Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Understanding of the overall functions of social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and other various forms of social, digital and website media.
Ability to work weekends when 3rd party events are being hosted
