75% Develops marketing and brand activation initiatives with a goal of differentiation in the collegiate athletic market space; Develops innovative digital marketing strategies that support the LSU brand utilizing digital, social and emerging technologies in coordination with external communications teams; Oversee development of comprehensive marketing plans for assigned sports to include attendance, ticket sales, and marketing materials.
20% Assist with in-game fan experience and operations for various sports, including coordinating promotions and live engagement initiatives, and fan giveaways.
5% Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree with three years’ experience in sports industry marketing at the collegiate or professional level; Extensive knowledge of social media platforms(Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat); Experience with data tracking and social media monitoring tools; Strong oral and written communication skills; Experience in fan engagement and game-day marketing operations; Knowledge of digital ad placement & promotions.
Special or Physical Qualifications:
Ability to work extended days, weekends and holidays. Travel may be required.
