Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Aid and assist in the content creation and design of marketing materials, including flyers, email communications, newsletters, advertisements, banners, etc.
Take pictures and videos that can be used for social media, marketing collateral, the website, etc.
Assist with the organization of media (reporters, camera crews, etc.) at the applicable events
Interacting with internal and external clients/vendors
Developing a strong understanding of the Universityâ™s brand
Coordinating with internal departments to respond quickly to customer request
Developing detailed marketing campaign plans
Assist in building a projects database
Assist with any additional marketing/recruitment related projects or duties
Excellent written, editing and oral communications skills
Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent people skills, with the ability to interact with all types of demographics of people, including staff, faculty and students
Experience with Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop) a plus, but not required
Preference may be given to enrolled students at Texas A&M University â“ Central Texas; must be in good academic standing if enrolled.
