Signium seeks an experienced, global thinking marketing & communications specialist to join our international professional services organization. This person is an enthusiastic collaborator who can work with – and learn from – a wide variety of personalities around the globe.
Responsible for all communications and the management of the Signium brand on digital platforms including website and social media. Combines business writing skills, digital marketing, and personal creativity to bring greater brand awareness and increase target engagement with Signium. Should be comfortable working in a small downtown office environment. International travel once or twice per year to a Signium conference is anticipated.
This is an excellent opportunity to immediately contribute and to shape this new role from the outset. This role will play a critical part in the strategic development of the organization.
This position includes the following responsibilities as further described below:
Website Management and Maintenance
Manage signium.com global website content, ensuring consistent theme and tone of voice.
Create and implement new member firm websites utilizing Signium’s content management system, including training member firms in use of the CMS tools.
Coordinate Social Media Activity
Assist with social media strategy development and implementation.
Work with member firms, consultants, and practice groups to raise an online presence with measurable results.
Publish messages/posts to LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
Engage with Signium consultants, industry contacts, and thought leaders as research to write articles.
Develop ‘Signium Interview’ concept and create videos covering Executive Search and Leadership Consulting topics.
Explore launch of company blog, e-newsletter, and social media.
Press Releases and Traditional Media
Write and publish PR on new employees, member firms, partner accomplishments, conferences, awards, etc.
Compile basic statistical information for industry trade associations, annual publications, directories and surveys.
Assure consistent image and position of ‘Signium’ both internally and externally.
Coordinate the appearance of print and electronic materials such as letterheads, use of logo, brochures.
Maintain effective, cohesive, and engaging brand messaging.
Identify and evaluate new digital technologies that promote brand awareness.
Special Projects may be assigned at any time. Projects are explained and independence given for completion.
The responsibilities described above are the essential functions of the job. The qualifications below represent the knowledge, skills, and experience required:
1-3 years’ experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the association or business network sector.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or public relations preferred.
Demonstrated copywriting experience; original content, press releases, presentations.
Experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
Strong familiarity with digital content distribution and tactics to maximize traffic.
Technical ability in website and social media development and maintenance.
Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
Commitment to working with leadership and in cross-functional global teams.
Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of photo and video editing tools or willingness to learn.
Fluency in foreign languages a plus.
