Assist with the creation, execution and maintenance of marketing and advertising plans supporting Air Force Athletic programs that strive to achieve the overall mission of the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC) and within NCAA compliance guidelines. Sport oversight and responsible for creating marketing plans to drive revenue and attendance for men’s basketball and volleyball. Director of game day presentation for men’s basketball and volleyball, including the writing of game day scripts, development of in-game promotions and management of all video board elements. Assist with the football, men’s ice hockey and women’s basketball programs when needed. Manage interns during sporting events. Assist with graphic design as needed. Work closely with the Director of Business Development and Community Outreach to execute community events and grow brand awareness. May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in sport marketing, administration, management or a related field is required. Masters degree is preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience in a Division I collegiate athletics marketing office or other related field is preferred.Candidate must have strong organizational, verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other business units. Scope of job may require evening and weekend hours.
