Ideal Candidate Profile QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive, and well-organized Marketing Intern. This position will be responsible for assisting the marketing department in support of marketing initiatives such as, but not limited to, customer database and list maintenance, competitive marketing research, promotional marketing and social media initiatives. Job Summary-Assist with updates to Competitor Profile and Sales Tool Binder documents-Assist with clean-up of data in the CRM system (ACT!) to include accurate information, filling in any missing data and ensuring no duplicate entries-Assist with clean-up and consolidation of Email Marketing software (Constant Contact) email lists -Assist with clean-up and organization of marketing file structure-Assist with Web Analytics and Lead Tracking reporting-Assist with Social Media, Blog and Website updates and content curation/development-Research sources for industry specific lead sources and other industry specific professional networking groups
Skills and Experience-Minimum: Current high school (senior) -Preferred: Current college student, pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Public Relations (not required) -Good Listening & communication skills -Decision making acumen-Ability to take responsibility-Demonstrate personal integrity & honesty-Ability to work under pressure and achieve required deadlines -Self-starter with drive to grow in marketing with the company -Detail-oriented -Creative, enthusiastic and ambitious, with sound business judgment -Excellent verbal, written, organizational and inter-personal skills -Ability to work on many projects and multi-task-Ability to interpret and disseminate information-Experience working in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
