The University of Pittsburgh Office of Economic Partnerships is seeking a Marketing Research Associate.
The Marketing Research Associate is responsible for providing data analytics, database management, and communications expertise to the Office of Economic Partnerships (OEP) at the University of Pittsburgh. Working collaboratively with multiple offices across the University, the incumbent will perform research and analysis to facilitate corporate engagement, track and develop metrics for OEP projects, and prepare presentations and other communications materials that accurately represent the work of OEP for multiple internal and external audiences.
The Marketing Research Associate must organize, analyze, and present data in an insightful, creative, and persuasive manner. This position is responsible for creating new and managing existing databases as well as developing briefings on prospective economic partners, creating PowerPoint presentations, and preparing concise and compelling descriptions of OEP initiatives for social media.
Hiring Range: $26,988.00- $43,212.00
Education Required: Baccalaureate
Overall Related Experience Level Required: 2-3 years experience
Additional Education And/or Experience Essential To the Position: Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree preferred. Two to three years of experience in data analysis, research, communications, or a related field is required. Must demonstrate the ability to gather, organize, analyze, interpret, transform, and present data in a successful, meaningful, creative, and efficient manner. Must exercise a high degree of flexibility and time management skills. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required as well as strong interpersonal skills. Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of database management systems is strongly preferred.
