UBS Asset Management Americas is looking for an innovative, cross-platform (Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office) graphic designer, presentation artist; passionate about good design, related technologies, process and production; with a unique creative sense who doesn't mind spending a portion of each month & quarter rolling up sleeves with the team and cranking out detailed financial reports, i.e. production.
The right candidate is truly detail oriented, has affinity for the tools of the trade; primary expertise with Adobe Creative Suite but also with PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office apps. MAC OS and Windows environment. Good, working knowledge of web design, graphics & production is a major plus, including responsive principles. In addition, a strong respect for brand standards and an understanding of how they are implemented across a complex organization is important. Experience with creative studio process and project management is important. Reporting to our Head of Creative, you'll use all of your skills to bring creativity, efficiency, innovation and depth to your design of brochures, presentations, data-driven graphics, microsites, events materials, and other collateral.

Your experience and skills
Design and produce marketing collateral, brochures, fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, events materials, HTML emails, etc., all within brand standards.
Prepare files for print
Update and maintain monthly and quarterly financial documents
Brainstorm and contribute to strategic design and brand initiatives
Solve challenging information and communication design problems, bringing innovative thought to the visualization of data
Partner and collaborate with creative team members to share ideas and improve outputs.
Design charts, tables and flow diagrams, research and select the best imagery.
Adhere to studio processes and meet agreed deadlines
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills; self-directed, comfortable working independently, and able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
Proactive, "can-do" or "will-figure-it-out"attitude
Experience in presentation and print design with working/growing knowledge of interface design.
Demonstrated creative design skills, information hierarchy, data visualization, and web usability.
Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a desire to solve challenging information and communication design problems, i.e. bring ideas and intuition to evaluate data and messaging, and turn that into a compelling chart.
Expert production skills, tight template use and creation, print prep, screen optimization
Advanced - Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS X and Windows.
Working knowledge of HTML web/email/microsite design & production
Brand expertise; adherence and ambassadorship
Experience in financial services is a plus
