Where the Chemistry Happens
As the Product Marketing Specialist in the Petrochemicals business unit you will be responsible for capturing and reporting business KPI's, analyzing sales and market data, and documenting and executing critical pricing and related business activities. You will support the development of the assigned products through the implementation of new product launches, market intelligence and tactical marketing activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ongoing support of product management activities and backing up the Product Manager. You will work effectively in cross-functional teams to ensure that any changes or issues related to the product line are overseen through completion. You will also work cooperatively with Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Logistics, as well as corporate functions such as Customer Care to ensure optimal positioning and utilization of the assigned product(s) across all market segments.
Formula for Success: You Will...
- Capture and report business KPI's
- Generate monthly sales reports, and analyze market/product activity
- Assist, support, and back-up the Product Manager
- Coordinate with Sales to ensure all customer quotes are accurately entered and pricing files maintained
- Monitor and report on key import/export statistics, and analyze market influences
- Maintain Co-Products business, and direct contact to customer
- Research and clear all price disrepancies and manage customer rebate programs
- Serve as primary business liaison with Customer Service

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You
Bachelors in Business Administration or a similiar business degree with a minimum 3+ years of degreed professional experience
Professional experience in marketing, sales, economics, customer care, supply chain or financial analysis
Strong business and financial analysis skills
Strong user skills with MS Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP or a similar enterprise software
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish internal and external relationships
Work experience in chemical, petrochemical or a similar manufacturing environment
Ability to work cooperatively with Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Logistics, and corporate functions such as Customer Care to ensure optimal positioning and utilization of the assigned product(s) across all market segments.
