The director collaborates with senior leadership at the College of Business to plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies, marketing communications outreach, and student recruitment activities. The director of marketing and communications will be accountable for driving enrollment activities through innovative marketing programming. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, entrepreneurial, and strategic; effectively working across departments and stakeholder groups in the College, across Campus, and throughout the extended College of Business community.

The Director of Marketing & Communications for the College of Business is responsible for:
1. Managing college's undergraduate enrollment management strategies, including all marketing, branding, and communications efforts, development of appropriate collateral and web site content, directing and organizing on-campus events and other engagements, and serves as the primary liaison with university stakeholders who partner on this initiative.
2. Leads the marketing, branding, and communications efforts for recruitment of students to graduate programs, including the PMBA, PMSA, and residential MBA programs. Includes development and execution of e-mail campaigns, digital marketing campaigns, search engine optimization and other related analyses, social media campaigns, and traditional media communications and public relations. Directs a team to help execute strategies.
3.Develops organizational structure for the Marketing & Communications team, including job descriptions for Director position, assignment of tasks and responsibilities for team members, and the development and management of direct reports. Includes working with the Dean's team to build a matrix structure for Marketing & Communications in the college.
4.Executes Content Management across all relevant platforms, including the development of a comprehensive social media strategy. Supports branding and communications efforts of centers, departments, and key stakeholder groups to increase awareness and support student recruiting efforts.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Significant related work experience (prefer at least (6) years). At least three (3) years of supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
