UW Strategic Marketing & Communications has an outstanding opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Manager, Airlift NW.
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing and communications plan that elevates the Airlift Northwest brand and broadens awareness of its capabilities and programs in local and regional markets. Provide counsel and advice to Airlift Northwest leadership and staff on appropriate marketing and communications strategies and tactics in line with Airlift Northwest's mission and business objectives. Develop and maintain the Airlift Northwest visual brand, including brand guidelines and compliance. Create strategies to foster relationships with targeted external and internal audiences. Work with strategic outreach liaison to optimize provider and community outreach opportunities.
Produce and maintain Airlift Northwest communication and marketing materials such as handouts, brochures, newsletters and other printed and digital materials designed to increase understanding of and engagement with Airlift Northwest and its programs. Facilitate market research as necessary to drive development of targeted marketing communication strategies in Airlift Northwest key markets. Work with digital marketing resources to rework/rebuild/optimize Airlift Northwest's web presence in alignment with its brand. Work in conjunction with social media resources to maintain and optimize Airlift Northwest social media properties, including Facebook and Twitter, to maximize exposure with key audiences.
Build and maintain relationships with Airlift Northwest staff and leadership. Participate as a member of Airlift Northwest's leadership team and attend all relevant leadership meetings, board meetings and strategic planning retreats and sessions. Develop and manage annual budget and negotiate with Airlift Northwest regarding additional budget contribution when necessary.
Interact with UW Medicine Advancement team to ensure that fundraising efforts and materials align with the Airlift Northwest brand and marketing communications messaging and direction. Provide strategic counsel and advice to UW Medicine Advancement on campaign-related activities. Help identify organizations, publications, materials and events that provide brand- building and advancement opportunities. Some travel within the WWAMI region.
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or related discipline
3-5 years of relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent client and customer service skills
Experience with current social media and digital marketing platforms and best practices
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Demonstrated creativity, and meticulous attention to detail
Strong project management skills, including development and tracking of success metrics
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, take initiative, set priorities, and exercise good judgment in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to complete multiple projects with demanding deadlines
Ability to develop, adhere to and successfully communicate branding and content guidelines

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
Master's Degree in Public Relations or Communications
Previous experience in higher education and/or a mission-driven organization
Clinical systems understanding
