The University of Missouri Department of Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Intern - Marketing Assistant - Sports Marketing. This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position with a monthly stipend of $ 1,200.00. Primary responsibilities for this position will include development and implementation of marketing plans for assigned sports and execution of game day duties; assisting in the design and distribution of printed sales/promotional materials; assisting with execution of in-game promotions for the sports of Football and Men's and Women's Basketball; assisting in the development of the Truman Kids Club and in the performance of other related duties, as assigned. Requirements of this position to include a Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or related field. Previous student work experience in promotions and/or marketing, preferably within an NCAA Division I institution and/or a professional sports organization. Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment to create and implement marketing campaigns and strategies.
