MARKETING AND ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Marketing and Engagement Coordinator develops, implements, and serves as the point person for Choristers Guild (CG)’s comprehensive communications and marketing activities, including but not limited to managing the website, email and direct mail marketing, The Chorister, social media, webinar series, member/customer acquisition/retention/engagement mailing and other initiatives, brand management, and support to local chapters. Choristers Guild is a Dallas-based international nonprofit organization that enables leaders to nurture the spiritual and music development of children and youth. It does this through a membership program for choir directors and by publishing music for children, youth, and adults.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Develop and execute strategic, multi-channel, results-driven marketing initiatives and campaigns. •Ensure consistent application and thoughtful management of the CG brand across the organization’s varied areas of work (membership, chapters, music publishing) and across all platforms. •Support CG’s fund development, membership development/engagement, events/conferences, and product sale efforts through creation and delivery of effective print, digital, and social media content •Serve as the Editorial/Marketing Calendar coordinator for The Chorister, a bimonthly magazine for CG members. Working with an advisory committee composed of The Chorister editor and CG leaders including Board members, chapter leaders, and members, develop and maintain an annual editorial calendar and advertising calendar. Solicit advertising and arrange in-kind advertising swaps with related organizations. •Produce and deliver digital member benefits (Weekly Resource Emails, Digital Chorister, Digital Choral Packets) and other products for members/dealers as requested. •Working with the directors of the Choristers Guild Institute (CGI) certification program, develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for CGI. Ensure timely creation and launch of online registration for CGI. •Working alone or with outside contractors, design and execute tailored communications (print and digital) for stakeholder groups including donors, members, prospective members, music dealers, and customers. •Manage website content and ensure that electronic information is accurate, current, and engaging. •Working with the Executive Director and Editors, identify and contact presenters for the Choristers Guild Webinar Series, and manage all aspects of webinar series registration, technology platform, scheduling, and hosting. •Measure cost and impact of all programs/communications to make informed recommendations/decisions on future marketing/engagement plans and investments. •Review/implement new technologies to assure CG marketing and engagement strategies are current, cost-effective and results-oriented. •As part of a flexible, team-oriented staff, assist as needed with customer service, conferences, inventory management, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. |
