Position Summary
The Program Manager, Digital and Direct Marketing, reports to the Director of Digital and Direct Marketing. The person filling this position is responsible for handling direct marketing campaigns for the internal VUMC groups outside the primary entities of Monroe Carell, Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, and VUMC, providing donor customer service for individual donors giving under $25,000 annually and managing special campaigns like The Big Payback and pilot projects. This role also executes the acknowledgment process for honor and memorial gifts. Additionally, this position assures administrative needs of the program are completed in an accurate and timely manner, including maintaining budget, invoice tracking, weekly appeals progress reports and monthly sustaining donors. Other projects deemed suitable for and consistent with digital and direct marketing objectives will be assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
· Provide project management of affinity appeals in partnership with sponsoring major gift officers. Provide technical support to assure project is implemented in time, according to budget to the agreed specifications. Communicate across teams and functions to assure and high quality product and success.
· Assure digital and direct marketing administrative requirements such as maintaining budget and invoices and tracking weekly appeals progress and monthly sustaining donors.
· Provide excellent customer service to donors inquiring about VUMC Development-related activities.
· Coordinate with VUMC Development colleagues as needed to ensure effective and accurate communication, use of content and donor outreach.
Qualifications
· A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience required.
· Creative thinking and problem solving skills.
