For over 40 years, Saint Luke Institute has participated in the healing ministry of Christ by promoting the health and well-being of Catholic clergy and religious in the United States and abroad. To accomplish this task, we provide mental health evaluations and treatment and offer an array of online, print, and in-person education. Position - Reporting to and working in close collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer to promote Saint Luke Institute and its initiatives, objectives and ministries through strategic development and implementation of high-level communications, marketing and outreach.
Responsibilities - •Communications and Media Relations - draft and edit public statements and media content; write, edit and proofread articles and presentations; track key news and trends for the President and leadership team. •Branding and Design – work with vendors to develop and manage consistent branding for all institute materials; create and maintain design standards for the organization. •Marketing – develop and implement a marketing plan for SLI; represent SLI at conferences, exhibits and other opportunities; support co-workers in marketing and development efforts; organize SLI-sponsored conferences and workshops; manage creation and maintenance of marketing lists. •Website – manage website to promote the mission and programs of SLI; collaborate with Director of Education to support online education objectives; collaborate with Director of Development to develop effective online donation strategy.
•Expert knowledge of the Catholic Church, its structure and teachings; •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; •Ten years of demonstrated leadership experience in communications, marketing or related field; •Excellent writing and editing skills; •Strong ability to develop and manage web content and use social media; •Consistent and proven ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers; •Proven ability to develop and manage vendor and other external relationships; •Proficiency in Donor Perfect, or similar software •Proficiency in WordPress, InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, or similar software •Strong ability to analyze and evaluate marketing channel effectiveness on a regular basis using Google Analytics or similar platforms •Successful track record executing content strategies that include video, webinars and articles •Strong design sense and ability to provide constructive feedback
