This Senior Level leadership role is responsible for designing, implementing and executing sales and business development activities related to digital product sales in the hospitality industry, selling and assisting in the development of Kalibri Labs data, analytics and insights products. This position will assume the role of trusted advisor to our clients and will create a compelling vision and strategy that will inspire both the client and the Kalibri Labs product teams. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the entire team, the Vice President of Business Development will drive the development of new business and client solutions for Kalibri Labs.
Lead the identification and qualification of prospects with a need for enhanced data for evaluating and predicting revenue performance for a hotel or group of hotels.
Deliver top line revenue growth and profitability in line with Kalibri Labs financial goals.
Develop and implement best-in-class sales processes and methods with appropriate metrics to drive behavior and success with clients.
Seek out and participate in opportunities to convey thought leadership in the enhanced intelligence enabled by Kalibri Labs for use in the hospitality industry.
Negotiate and prepare proposals and agreements for the sale of data and analytics products.
Ensure customer satisfaction with selling efforts before, during, and after the sale.
Partner with leadership on business planning with preparation and delivery of regular and accurate forecast, pipeline information, and other metrics to the company.
Manage client and lead generation communications by collaborating with the marketing team emails, blogs and social content to promote the use of Kalibri Labs intelligence.
Recommend changes/updates as the subject matter expert in the development of the data and analytics products through consultation with prospects and clients.
Manage Salesforce –update new sales leads, maintain client accounts
Minimum 10-12 years’ experience working within hospitality industry, specifically with digital products and or hotel revenue tools.
Ability to professionally present to users, influencers, and decision makers in small or large settings.
Proven experience utilizing solution selling techniques to the executive level.
Proven ability to sell and penetrate new markets / clients Ability to understand, communicate, and manage across the entire sales lifecycle.
Ability to apply technology in an appropriate way to meet business requirements.
