This position will provide leadership and coordination of Company sales, exclusive brand management and our marketing functions. This position oversees a sales and marketing staff of approximately 25 staff members. We are seeking a high level, aftermarket industry professional with excellent experience establishing sales and marketing objectives and monitoring and motivating the team to achieve these objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
Plans, directs, manages and coordinates company sales and marketing functions.
Oversees all aspects of exclusive brand management, including the negotiation and execution of agreements, compliance monitoring, issue resolution and its marketing and sales support programs.
Travels and/or attends offsite meetings, tradeshows and industry events on behalf of company as necessary.
Oversees marketing communications including branding, public relations, blogs, advertising and other traditional and online marketing materials.
Responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to set and achieve revenue targets
Attends and participates in executive strategy sessions to assist in determining overall company growth, sales, and business objectives.
Provides strategic leadership to the sales and marketing teams to ensure that business goals and projected growth are achieved.
Defines and oversees incentive programs that motivate the employees to achieve targets while maintaining company standards and values.
Provides detailed and accurate sales forecasting and monitoring against targets.
Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to company leadership team.
Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results.
Develops and manages sales, marketing and exclusive brand budgets.
Identifies and captures opportunities and provides recommendations for vertical and horizontal expansion opportunities.
Develops strategies to take advantage of available business opportunities that support the company’s objectives.
Works closely with internal departments and external vendors, customers and competitors on middle to high-level issues, projects or concerns until resolved in accordance with corporate goals and values.
Master’s Degree preferred in Marketing, Business Administration or Public Relations.
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably with a focus in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or other related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Five plus years of Sales and Marketing experience with at least 3-5 years of staff management experience required. Previous Sales and Marketing experience in a large-volume transactional environment preferred. Aftermarket industry knowledge and experience highly preferred.
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management.
Experience in structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations and branding efforts.
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
Ability to participate in and facilitate internal and external group meetings.
A proven team leader capable of operating within a growing, fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated communicator, both verbal and written.
