Vice President of Marketing
The professional selected for this dynamic role manages the entire spectrum of the marketing function from consumer research and insight, to brand development and positioning, public relations, and corporate and local marketing efforts. This individual drives both strategy and execution with the marketing team and acts as a key influencer in all aspects of the brand, customer experience, and development/evolution of Vi’s products and services. The Vice President of Marketing also acts as part of the extended executive management team helping the organization set and obtain its objectives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants will possess a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in marketing and/or consumer strategy and research field with a Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
Additional requirements include:
Responsible for all marketing activities on behalf of Vi communities (advertising, public relations, website, social media, digital marketing, content marketing and market-directed corporate communications).
Creates and manages annual budget for both community and corporate marketing budgets.
Develops and implements strategic and tactical marketing and public relations plans and budgets.
Works with Sales and Interior Design departments.
Manages internal and external marketing resources (creative agency, digital agency, media agency, retail branding agency, and other vendors).
Develops and implements a creative process that aligns with Vi’s strategy and revenue goals.
Builds and manages an integrated agency model.
Builds a strong and interconnected relationship between marketing and sales with shared accountability for the sales process.
Builds a strong relationship with Vi legal department.
In partnership with the Market Research team, conducts and oversees market research.
Develops and executes customer research methodology.
