Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship delivers world-class accelerator programs that connect global social enterprise leaders with Silicon Valley business executives to develop more sustainable, scalable market-based solutions to the problems of those living in poverty around the world. In alignment with the Center's mission to accelerate entrepreneurship to end poverty and protect the planet, the Marketing Manager supports program marketing targeted at social entrepreneurs (SEs), volunteer mentors, partners, and SCU students through the website, email outreach/newsletters, and social media to increase our pipeline of qualified SEs in GSBI programs, promote GSBI alumni to funders and ecosystem, engage mentors, and recruit students, while maintaining a consistent voice and integrated communications across program stakeholders.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about supporting social entrepreneurs in ending poverty and protecting the planet to join our team and lead our program marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will wear several hats; they are part writer and part project manager, they are seeking a fast-paced environment and a supportive team, and they are capable of managing Miller Center's voice and brand through multiple channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
a. Manage Mass Communications to Miller Center Audiences through newsletters, website, social media, and email campaigns i. Manage the Miller Center Website and maintain clear and up-to-date information that is customer-centric that allows for easy access to relevant information ii. Manage social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter), representing Miller Center and our key stakeholders with authenticity and professionalism iii. Drive production of bi-monthly newsletter to Miller Center audiences communicating key information, calls to action, and resources for the social enterprise community to 14k+ subscribers iv. Curate marketing content through proactive outreach to program staff and information gathering from meetings, research, and discussion to ensure accurate and timely information is being presented v. Distribute key messages through well-written, engaging stories that highlight Miller Center's ability to support social entrepreneurs vi. Manage library of compelling photos and graphics so that our website, social media channels, and marketing collateral are populated with engaging photographs that accurately and powerfully communicate our work, and the work of our SEs vii. Support program staff on recruiting and engaging social entrepreneurs, mentors, discovery partners, network partners, and impact investors through development of marketing collateral and email campaigns viii. Maintain Miller Center branding guidelines throughout all marketing communications, and promote consistency across all Miller Center communications b. Support activities with major marketing components i. Provide event support as it relates to collateral, communications, swag, photo and video asset capture, and attendee data management ii. Work with Alumni Engagement Manager to develop and implement strategy to leverage alumni in program marketing c. Inform program marketing strategy with data and qualitative evidence of the ROI on various marketing communications efforts

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required
1-3 years of experience working in social enterprise ecosystem, international development, or related sector
Hiring Range: $27.43 - $31.53 hourly; commensurates with experience
