Marketing Manager, HR Conferences
LRP Publications is looking for a talented Marketing Manager to help grow the awareness and attendee participation for three national conferences targeted to Human Resource professionals. Based in Horsham, PA, this person will work closely with company leadership and have complete bottom-line responsibility for analyzing, strategizing, creating and executing innovative marketing plans using a wide array of marketing tactics.
Our ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, anticipate needs and make adjustments, and an assertiveness to offer new ideas that will contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities: •Create, develop and execute marketing budget and plans, define and implement campaign schedules, and manage campaign costs and resources within budget. •Research the market and audience to develop successful marketing campaigns and continuously experiment to maximize results. •Manage in-house lists, list acquisition, and develop list segmentation strategies. •Gather and analyze data to communicate and improve existing and future campaign efforts. •Work with subject matter experts to gather pivotal information to develop clear and relevant messaging within marketing pieces. •Develop creative, persuasive and original copy in a high-volume environment. •Review and edit promotional materials for marketing effectiveness. •Research, identify, forge and maintain long-term marketing partnerships. •Work collaboratively with internal teams including Creative Services, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Meeting Planners. •Manage and develop the supporting Marketing Coordinator.
Minimum Requirements: •Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing •4 years related work experience including supervisory responsibilities •Previous quantifiable success in managing marketing projects from end-to-end •Advanced proficiency in managing direct mail and email marketing best practices, including list management and database maintenance •Proficient copy-writing skills •Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft applications and Adobe software •Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks while remaining organized •Ability to think creatively and innovatively •Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions while meeting deadlines •Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook •Ability to travel up to 20% of the time Desired Qualifications:
•B2B Marketing Experience, highly preferred •Knowledge of Human Resource Market/Industry and HR Technology •Experience in SEO, email marketing and digital advertising •Utilizing Google Analytics to monitor and measure website and email marketing effectiveness •Experience with a project management system/software In addition to a stable and supportive work environment, LRP provides:
