JOB FUNCTIONS 1.Producer campaigns—ongoing strategies with individual producers for tailored sales campaigns; increase collaboration with producers to help them increase leads; track and report on results
2.Veterinary student focus—create and implement student project calendar for new graduates and students; calendar to execute student strategy (POV and key objectives) in collaboration with our client. Develop new parameters for the VBMA partnership to socialize and engage with this segment of future veterinary leaders and practice owners.
3.Conventions and meetings—manage and coordinate tradeshow activities; responsible for marketing booth presence, incentives, attracting booth traffic; responsible for promotional materials shipped to each show, booths, signage, maintenance, space and furniture rentals, registration bag inserts, pre and post show attendee meetings.
4.Continue executing the new PLIT brand identity to enhance customer experience and strengthen brand value.
5.AAHA and PLIT websites—audit information monthly, add and modify content in our CMS system, monitor activity.
6.Digital marketing—work on website development, assist with e-communications and publications, and participate in social media launch.
7.Creating, designing and updating marketing materials for print and web by researching content, discerning key communication points and soliciting input and feedback. Examples include reports, newsletters, advertisements, direct mail, sell sheets, proposals and more.
8.Provide group and one-on-one training to the Programs Department that would help them work and prospect more efficiently (such as online resources, website content, navigation, etc).
9.Data—assist with managing multiple data sources, data clean-up, and mining (for sales team)
10.Printing process—file preparation for service bureau or commercial printer, job specs, pre-press proofing, quotations, monitor production schedules.
11.Track activity from marketing campaigns and provide reporting.
12.Work with all employees to participate with content for the monthly internal newsletter; organize and produce newsletter file for publication.
13.Prepare mail merge files, print in-house, and coordinate with Admin Services for distribution.
14.Create and manage promotional inventories and libraries of promotional materials.
15.Participate and engage in company initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS 1.Degree in marketing/communications, graphic design/visual communications, or related field
2.1-3 years work experience in marketing/graphic design/communications-related position
3.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign and Photoshop (experience with InDesign html layouts a plus)
4.1-3 years experience with production and prepress principals, practices, and techniques
5.1-3 years work experience with social media
6.Search engine optimization and search engine marketing skills
7.Ability to work closely with clients housed in our office
8.Strong typographical skills
9.Proficiency in Microsoft office products
10.Excellent oral and written communication skills
11.Ability to work under tight deadlines and budgets and maintain urgency on the projects handled
12.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously for a diverse project workload—this is very much a project-based position
13.Ability to take initiative, set and maintain priorities, and work with little supervision
14.Excellent analytical and organizational skills
15.Be able to work additional hours as projects dictate.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 1.Experience using a website content management system (CMS)
