This position will lead the strategic development,implementation and activation of marketing plans, fan development campaigns and branding activities for PSU Athletics. The foremost mission of this role is to increase attendance, drive revenue, improve engagement and elevate awareness of our program in the Portland metro area and beyond.
A bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in marketing, event coordination, social media management, game operations, or ticketing. Knowledge of/desire to build a career in the athletics, sports and/or entertainment industry. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite. The ability to manage several tasks or projects simultaneously, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated commitment to customer service, and a track record in building quality relationships.
A Master’s degree and at least two years of experience in marketing, event coordination, social media management, game operations, or ticketing. Experience working in a NCAA Division I athletic department. Evidence of strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey thoughts, ideas and plans to PSU Coaches, Administrators and other staff members.
